My friend , Dr. John Kefuss, from France (the guy who coined the term “the Bond method” for breeding mite-resistant bees) heard about our lack of progress on eradicating this invasive, so sent me video of what it’s like for a hive of bees in France, now that the hornet is established there, and suggested that I share it with U.S. beekeepers.

If we don’t put pressure on our government to eradicate this hornet now, all of us who keep bees in warm-winter areas will be suffering from this voracious predator.
Write or phone your state and national beekeeping organizations to put pressure on our legislators to fund serious action against this invasive, similar to how the USDA is reacting to the screwworm fly.
